Hazelnut Cream

Hazelnut cream is delicious and creamy with a delicate flavour that goes beautifully with fruit or poured over any dessert. Great to have frozen as an ice-cream as well...very versatile.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cashews (soaked overnight in filtered water)
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup organic cold pressed coconut oil
- 3 Tablespoons organic pure maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon hazelnut extract (more if you want a stronger flavour)
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy.
- Taste to check flavour (Don't add too much hazelnut extract if adding extra, otherwise you will change the delicate balance of flavours)
- Pour over fruit, other desserts or semi freeze to use as ice cream...delicious. You can also sprinkle with nut meg.
