Very delicious and easy to make. These Choc Orange Energy Balls will give you the boost you need without dairy, gluten or processed sugar… take them with you for an easy snack between meals….so yummy!

Delicious healthy snacks with no gluten, dairy or processed sugar. Place in the fridge, freezer or pantry (for a limited time)...not that they will last that long 🙂
Ingredients
  • 10 organic Medjool dates (seeds removed)
  • 1 cup organic raw cashews
  • ½ cup organic brazil nut flour (or other nut flour - or ground nuts)
  • ¼ cup organic sunflower seeds
  • ¼ cup organic coconut flakes
  • ¼ cup organic sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons raw organic Cacao powder
  • 8 drops organic orange oil essence
  • A small amount of water
  • Desiccated coconut for rolling
  • Extra Cacao powder for rolling
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients except water into food processor (with s blade)
  2. Process until nuts are broken down and everything is combined.
  3. If mixture is not sticky, add a small amount of water to combine mixture to a sticky consistency.
  4. Roll mixture into balls
  5. Roll in either coconut or Cacao powder (whatever is your preference) The Cacao powder adds a lovely bitter flavour... try some of each and enjoy!
